Strasbourg in a day

Strasbourg’s landmarks and attractions make it a city worthy of spending a week, weeks or months there, but if your time is tight, you are just passing through, or it is not your final destination, you can still make the most of your short visit/stay and soak in its magnificent beauty. The added bonus is that Strasbourg is compact, distances are manageable walking or cycling and it is the perfect size to stroll around. This town was made for walking: trolling is very feasible and not a test of endurance, not only because of its size but also the fact that most of the landmarks and attractions are located in the Grand Ille. I loved wandering aimlessly through the cobbled streets of the Old Town.

These are my unmissable sights if you spend a day in Strasbourg.

  • Notre-Dame Cathedral
  • Historic Quarter/ Old Town
  • Petit France Neighbourhood
  • Museum of Contemporary Art of Strasbourg
  • Pontes Couverttes

This gallery is the summary of my 12 hours in beautiful Strasbourg.
