Merry Christmas

On this Christmas day of 2017, I want t use my particular creative outlet, my blog, to wish you all Happy holidays and the best for the year we’re about to enter. Without wanting to dampen the mood, I must confess that not that long ago, I was not a fan of this time of year, which I always find to be rather melancholic and depressing. But since becoming a mother, that has slightly changed as I see it through the eyes of a child. My 3-year-old son, who is now spending Christmas with his father, has made the inner child in me feel mesmerized by simple things such as dazzling Christmas lights and decorations. I now take the time to appreciate not only how magical lights can be but also how lucky I am that, no matter how tough life can get,  I still have a roof over my head and food on the table. And for that I am grateful.

So Merry Christmas, everyone, wherever you are in the world, whatever you do, may you all find the love and happiness we deserve in the new year and beyond. Do not forget about those who are lonely and grieving, for this time of year can be a difficult one to cope with. My thoughts are with you.

I am sharing a few pics of the Christmas markets in Mulhouse, France, where I am spending the Christmas week.

Hope you enjoy x
