Oh, the blazer, a key wardrobe staple for many of us, do you reckon? When it comes to fashion and buying clothes, I follow the minimalist approach of only buying garments I know I will get lots of wear out of. Long were the days when I  followed the -not very sensible- approach of buying things following the “why not” or “just in case” mantra, only to end up wearing it once, tossing it to the bottom of my wardrobe and start again. What an unsustaible approach in every way. Thankfully, with age comes also the wisdom which makes us smarter when it comes to adding pieces to our wardrobe. And, if there are items I could not refrain from adding – sensibly, that is- these would have to be blazers. They are such a versatile piece which you can dress up or down whichever the occasion, and the season! I have come up with a  short list of high-street pieces I have my eye on, some of which I  already grabbed  (the Zara crisp white blazer and Pull and Bear striped ones).
